Open Scoring MMA ("we", "us", "our") operates the website openscoringmma.com, the Fight Tracker, and the Open Scoring MMA podcast and YouTube channel. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions? Email [email protected].
YouTube API Services
Our tools use YouTube API Services to publish our own videos to our own channel and to help us manage and engage with our channel's audience. By using our services you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of data obtained through Google APIs is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
We access the YouTube API only with our own channel's authorization. We do not collect or store the personal data of YouTube viewers. We retain analytics and statistics about our own videos (for example, view counts) only as needed to operate the channel, and any non-aggregate authorized data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days as required by Google's policies.
You can review or revoke our app's access to your Google account at any time via the Google security settings page.
Information we collect
- Email you give us. If you join the waitlist or sign up for fight-night reminders, we store the email address (and name, if provided) you submit, solely to send you the updates you asked for.
- Usage analytics. We use self-hosted, privacy-first analytics (Umami) that do not use cookies and do not track you across other sites. We see aggregate page views and referrers, not personal profiles.
- YouTube data. As described above — limited to our own channel.
How we use it
To send the emails you opted into, to understand which content resonates so we can make a better show, and to operate our YouTube channel. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that help us deliver these functions (for example, our email provider for sending the messages you requested).
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our analytics are cookieless and first-party (Umami). Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) you still have the right to opt out — so we make it easy:
- Use the control (in the footer of every page) to reject any non-essential categories.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal automatically — if your browser sends it, you are opted out of analytics and marketing without doing anything else.
- Or email [email protected] and we will action your request.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected]. To revoke our access to your Google/YouTube account, use the Google security settings page.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; we'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
