Michael Page says the promotion could have parted with him better, while Adrian Yanez looks set to return to action at Madison Square Garden.

Michael Page isn't holding back about how his UFC run ended. We're hearing that Page, who went 5-1 inside the promotion, called his release "disrespectful," making clear he feels the company could have handled his exit with more care.

Whatever the disagreement was about, it wasn't about his results. Our Elo model has him rated at 1590 across six tracked bouts, a number that puts him well above replacement level for the weight class he's now leaving behind. A 5-1 stretch with that kind of rating is exactly the resume a fighter points to when arguing he deserved a longer runway or a softer landing.

Meanwhile, the UFC 334 card at Madison Square Garden is filling out. According to a new report, Adrian Yanez has drawn an opponent who's on a hot streak and has never been finished in a fight. No name has been confirmed publicly yet, but the framing alone tells you this isn't a soft touch for Yanez.

Yanez enters that matchup off real momentum of his own. Our tracker has him sitting at a 1492 Elo rating over five bouts, a live number for a bantamweight looking to string together consecutive statements.

Between Page hunting for his next home and Yanez booking a dangerous test at Madison Square Garden, there's plenty to watch. Page's next move could reshuffle a promotion's rankings overnight, while Yanez's fight adds another explosive matchup to an already notable UFC 334 lineup.
